Kote (phonetic: coat) is a tropical world that is currently being
strip-mined by the Core Mining conglomerate. Kote has few
inhabitants, but Core Mining has met quite some resistance from
violent environmental activists. Although over eighty percent of Kote's surface is submerged, only thirty percent of that is over four meters deep. As a tourist world, swimming and waterparks are huge on Kote, and Core Mining, as unethical as they are, are sure to stay well away from the tourist attractions, destroying the rest of what would be a lovely world. A belt of islands along the equator, Dhe Ruquas, is the most well known location on Kote, and a very expensive vacation spot. |
