Timeline Wars |
In the year 3293, the high societies of Ellix grew disenchanted.
Their wars among themselves, though entertaining for short periods,
were overdone. They needed a break. The first assault was upon the rest of the Blizzard system. Perrenor was overwhelmed disgustingly quickly, which disappointed the Ellixans to the point of sending strike teams to Micc, Lars, and Fierra Mesa at once. Perhaps striking multiple targets would be fun. Fierra Mesa quickly welcomed their new Ellixan overlords. The beariths watched with respectful eyes. Lars became a tough battleground on which a small team of Ellixans retreated once. They slowed their advance slightly to savor the war. Now with control of Fierra Mesa and Perennor, detachments deployed from both worlds as well as Ellix to support the fight on Micc, and soon fanned to the rest of Charlu, making a point not to capture Lanus, so as to keep a steady supply of arms flowing against them. It soon became apparent that the rest of the galaxy was not as entertained as the Ellixans when a Sekran naval group made an unexpected direct assault on Ellix. It was then that Enrique Suerton and his advisors were honestly delighted by the Sekrans audacity, and put up a slow fight before simply flying nukes into their ships. One of the most infamous moments of the war is recounted as follows in Pablo Suerton's "Diary of the Greatest Sports Ever": "As Admiral Gerald Douglas of the Sekran Naval Detachment Archer floated, dying, in his escape pod, gazing upon the wreckage of his decimated fleet, his damaged comm buzzed, and the voice of my brother, Enrique, flooded his compartment. The leader of our people humbly thanked the Admiral for such a battle, and congratulated him on his dauntlessness. Admiral Douglas died laughing heartily with those whom he sought to destroy." As the news of the Sekran Naval Detachment's destruction spread across space, the galaxy's denizens were hit with a doomed realization and simply stopped fighting. Disappointed, the Ellixans returned home promptly, sending out humble thanks for such an entertaining war. It has been dubbed by historians as the "Final War," as all of Ellix has since declared that they would never again begin an open war with other planets. As Enrique Suerton's famous quote goes, "We'll never have days that rad again." |
