The man that was Vega had ceased to exist the moment I had put on the cloak. With this cloak I had been reborn into a dark and twisted version of my former self. The charred remains of my soul were blackened by years of ceaseless wandering through the despair of my tortured past. I took one look at Stasis and knew that I would no longer find solitude in the friendships that had oft kept me from falling into the abyss. I was already there. I closed my eyes to the pain that threatened to well up inside of me. The old Vega must remain buried. He was weak. He was a fool. Now there was only... V.

I stood motionless as the last cherry blossom fell from the tree. It reminded me of... ... I turned toward the garbage chute or something. I was going to have to put our past differences aside if I was going to get to the cloaked figure's bottom. I dived down the garbage chute or something. "WOOOOOOOLF!"
