UT 04 was alright, but I hate the stupid lightning gun. Was there another? aside from the newest, I seem to recall playing another that impressed me even less...

I just can't get the hang of UT3 though. It's because I really slag at making things in 3D programs. Since that is all it is now... Make them somewhere else and import them... I can't do anything. One of these days I'll make something good. I shall!! Man... my last map I made for UT rocked though... Inspired by one that Stasis had made...  Just... a lot different. Dang... I might have to go install UT just to play it again... Or remake it in UT3... Hmm... Alright... So... Yeah. ... Why am I watching live feed from D.C.?

Dominion Master 1/20/2009 11:02:53 AM Level: 85 Experience: 2500627 Total Posts: 294	RE: Chat Thread Round Three There was Unreal Tournament 2003 which was just 2004 unfinished so they could rush something out to meet the deadline. 2004 was 2003 only containing the rest of the game. There were also a bunch of Unreal Tournaments for consoles, but I only played one of them once. Twitch FPS with a joystick is not something I enjoy. I didn't like the lightning gun that much myself. They did put a real rifle in 2004 though, and for UT3 we're back to a real rifle and no lightning gun. Yay. It's still slower than the original UT rifle, but not as slow as the 2004 rifle or the stupid lightning gun. Balance. Pfft. I made a mutator for UT a long time ago that puts in an M10--or, incorrectly, MAC10--(mesh masterfully crafted by our very own Stasis) that the player holds sideways and is extremely inaccurate, but it's funny. I also put in a stockless Mossberg 500 pump shotgun. It has no crosshairs. And it modified the minigun to have infinite ammo and fire about 4,000 to 10,000 rounds per minute (I think) depending on if you use primary or alt fire. That's a fun gun. We never play without this mutator... or the chainsaw one. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they created the so-called Enforcer for UT3. That thing is not fun to use. It's so slow. And dang I miss the Ripper. I'll need to make one for UT3 some day I suppose. The UT3 "Stinger" is pretty annoying too. I guess I'll be making a new minigun as well.

I was working on someone's computer at work today and I found out her start pages were two role playing forums. They're horrible Harry Potter (and Harry Potter-esque) role play forums, but still. Never would've thought such a thing would fly in my town.
