Alex jumps out from behind it before it hits him and shoots wildly at the windshield. In a panic, the driver puts the car through the railing and into the ocean. Alex: ...Geniuses. He stands up and brushes off his shirt. Alex: I bet they were putting bombs on my hull. Like I haven't seen that one before. He walks over to inspect the hull of his ship.

Spider bomb in the intake. A magnetic spider-like robot bomb big enough to take out the entire drive pod and open up a hole in the hull big enough to drive a truck through. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a short, extendable rod and extends it. The rod is electromagnetic, and so magnetic it fools the robot into attaching to it. He fishes it through the grate and the bomb attaches itself to it. He pulls it out and kicks it off into the ocean. After checking a few other areas on the hull, he finds that it's clear and returns inside. Alex: That was fun. Let's deliver some packages!

Alex observes the now considerably emptier cargo bay. Alex: I'm going to sleep. There's two quarters you can sleep in, but they might be messy. Alex locks the cargo bay and the loading ramp and proceeds to his room.

When he finally wakes up, he verifies that Alata is still around. Alex: Ready to leave?

There's a ridiculous amount of levers, buttons, and switches and two seats. Behind the seats is a short ladder to the engine compartment. Head room in the cockpit is lacking and one must duck to get in. Alex gets in the pilot seat and proceeds with the startup sequence. Alex: Have a seat. Artificial gravity's broken, so you don't want to be standing when we escape the atmosphere. Anyway, we'll be there pretty soon.
