Yamada Riko Artifical Superhuman 10/22/2008 3:25:06 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 66 | RE: The Streets of Kepp "Good! Otherwise I might have to hunt you down," she teases before going back to her chair and pulling one up for Yamada. "Do you want a seat too, Terrathel?" she asks before someone comes walking up towards the door. It seemed to be Warulia as he gently opened the door more and gave all three a soft smile. "Ah, there you are Ms. Riko. I was just relaying a message to you... the general thinks you're ready for an actual mission - tomorrow in fact," he says, as if this wasn't that big of a deal. "You're to report to the briefing room at 0800 hours tomorrow... well, I don't want to take up anymore of your free time, Ms. Riko, excuse me." He tips her head a bit before letting himself out of the building. Mary seems to have gotten extremely thoughtful about the sudden news and Yamada seemed a little nervous herself before looking at Mary. "Mary?" "Oh, sorry hun. Hey, do you mind finishing up some of these papers for me, while I take a break?" she asked in a friendly voice, making Ms. Riko smile and nod a bit as she scooted up to the desk. Mary slipped by Terrathel and nudged him softly, subtly trying to get him to follow for moment as she exited just outside of the building and sighed. |

His appointment to her had something to do with this, he was sure. If he was responsible, he had to be sure nothing untoward happened to her, he whispered under his breath "with my life." It seemed they had tied him into this as surely as if he was programmed, however, this time his loyalty was not to them. |

I'm sure it's nothing they told you when you took the job. The general seems so concerned about her being some sort of super soldier, that he barely takes time to consider her emotion development. Just, keep an eye on her ... she's inexperienced I'm sure and I'm not all too sure how she will react to certain situations. That's all." The woman seemed serious, but offered a small smile either way, leaning her back against the wall with her hands up against it as well. |
Terrathel assassin/mercenary 10/22/2008 5:39:13 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 74 | RE: The Streets of Kepp He nodded, and tried for an understanding smile, emotions were still difficult, and he was trying to figure half of them out, the 'mind' definitely uploaded more than intended when he died. "after what I've seen that is what I expected. If I don't like what I see, I have a few tricks. I am more experienced than I look. I am... happy to see that she had a friend at all. I was hired to protect her. Since I am tied into this now it is her that i will protect. I am not programmed, my Key was destroyed, I am rogue." He wasn't sure if he got his point across properly, but he was trying, and hoped she could fill in the gaps. |

Let's go back in and spend what we have for the rest of the night." She smiles and head back in where the young woman is doing some of the paper work and apparently enjoying it - for one reason or another. The two spend the night talking about silly things, and just having fun, and eating well-cooked food. Mary tries to involved Terrathel in the conversations and soon enough, so is Yamada. The night burns away slowly and eventually Yamada says farewell to her friend and heads back to her room, giving the bio shell a warm good night and entering her room for the rest of what was left. |
Terrathel assassin/mercenary 10/22/2008 7:08:10 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 74 | RE: The Streets of Kepp He had tried to join in the conversations when he could, but he had limited social experience, and most of his knowledge was objective based, so he could never contribute much, aside from hinting at which herbs could've added what effect to the food. It appeared that mary had pieced together what he had meant, and even if his belongings had been checked, he still had some resources the military didn't know about. He was glad Yamada was starting to see him as a friend, had started to like her, she was an amusing, and smart individual. After bidding her good night, he organized his room, setting everything into place, it would appear he was settled in for awhile, though distinctly lacking with just one spare set of clothing. He had seen the male restroom on the way up, so he took advantage and showered, it was nearby, her room had one built in, but his did not. He then settled into his spare clothes, a casual set, and headed back to his room, preparing for a dose of data processing in the place of dreams tonight, (another benefit of a programmed mind). |
Yamada Riko Artifical Superhuman 10/22/2008 10:17:06 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 66 | RE: The Streets of Kepp Morning came and the sun raise had just peeked out as it hit seven thirty in the morning. Yamada was apparently all ready up and moving around by this time, though she was quiet. Eventually, she opened up her door, tightening her long gloves on her arm and letting out a subtle sigh. She silently walked over to a window in the hallway and looked out it thoughtfully, folding her hands in front of herself as she did before and watching the people going back and forth - assumingly getting ready for the briefing. |
Terrathel assassin/mercenary 10/22/2008 11:04:39 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 74 | RE: The Streets of Kepp the bluish sunlight hit Terrathel's closed eyes, and woke him up, he rolled out of bed, fully clothed, (old habit) but since he didn't move in his sleep, nothing was badly rumpled. He hung the katana, and satyr on his back, put on his belt, placing the grenades in its loops, and the knife sheathes at his sides. After putting on his shoes he opened the door, and saw Yamada looking out a window, given her posture, she wasn't in as good shape as she was yesterday. he stepped up beside her, after intentionally making noise closing the door to announce his presence. "You'll be okay, I'll make sure of it. No matter what the outcome, but I will need to speak with you once we find out what this is about." |
Yamada Riko Artifical Superhuman 10/22/2008 11:43:28 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 66 | RE: The Streets of Kepp The young woman looked over a little and nodded, before saying, "let's get going, it'll be soon." She turned and started down the stairs and turned left and lead the way into one of the rooms, where several people have gathered already and maps seemed laid out on a large table and a projector was set-up. Yamada was mostly quiet, waiting for eight o'clock to come around, and people moving about. Eventually, the lights got dimmer and a main adorned in a brown military suit with several medals walked in. His eyes were calm, but almost cold, and he had a small mustache with black hair. He walked up to the projector and turned into on, showing a view of a city building during the night, apparently having about ten stories. "This is the Cilek Inc. where secret technologies are worked on. While there's no reason to get into detail, some men have broke in and are murdering those within. We're going to go in and stopping them. This will take place tonight. We don't know what kind of weaponry they have or where they're going, but they don't seem to be leaving the building. We are to contain this threat and keep it from exiting the building if it wishes to. Now, each squard has been given their orders, so visit your captains to go over the plan. Dismissed." At this point the lights went back up and people started moving about quickly again and Yamada gave Terrathel a look before looking about. Soon enough, she started making her way to Wares and his team, one of them being the rookie she had floored earlier. "All right, we're supposed to take the ninth floor and scan it for any of these murderers. Team one will go in first, followed by team two, and so forth. Floor one will be cleared and then the teams will split up and go up to their own floor ... we're using the north elavator. Be sure to keep lights to a minimum if possible. Any questions?" None of the men seemed to have many questions and neither did Yamada, but this was a perfect chance for Terrathel to ask anything he wanted. |
Terrathel assassin/mercenary 10/23/2008 12:54:42 AM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 74 | RE: The Streets of Kepp He looked at each of the men, all of them seemed at least somewhat experienced. He had more wanted to confer with her than have an open chat, so he modified what he was going to say a little. "This is a touchy mission, anyone can lurk around a corner, and pull a trigger as someone turns it, ally or enemy, I can tell you have good intuition, don't take any risks you don't think are worth it, and don't do anything you feel is wrong." Once again he didn't quite get the message he wanted out, but he hoped she'd get enough, especially the last part 'don't do anything you don't want to do' |
