Balinor Pill Popping Medic 3/30/2008 7:35:18 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 48 | RE: Tenga Cuidado con Piedras Balinor: Markus doesn't say much. William: He seems like broody type. Balinor: And he's vaccinated. William: Which is very odd for an aide with no type of military or traveling background. He had no reason to be vaccinated. Balinor considers this and decides she'll talk to him later. William goes on to pull up his record, they hadn't gotten as far as the Q's. Markus's background is riddled with inconsistancies, almost as though it's been tampered with. Several things are missing post-dates, and his criminal backgrounds is written very unprofessionally, failing to follow the standard lingo. William makes another thoughtful sound at this. Balinor: Whenever Tucker wakes, he will be anxious to begin work. -- Speaking of Tucker, he's just rolled over from a very interesting dream with a terrible headache. He takes a few painkillers and gets ready to begin his day. He is very anxious to get started. |

He most likely one or the only one who introduced the virus," as if it wasn't obvious by now. Star falls completely silent again, turning her head to watch the computer screen from afar, content in letting them look over the other files and waiting for Tucker to come waltzing right in. |

Afterwards, he makes his way down to the bowling alley for three very brisk games. He has dreams of entering tournaments someday, when he gets out of here. He's gotten very good. He could make a substantial living, bowling. It's all just a matter of mathematics, how you throw the ball, the angles and velocity... He stops analyzing and throws a fourth game, just for fun. He botches it up in the end and only gets 275. Then he heads over to the foyer in the 1st Tower, to hang out until something happens. He begins to fiddle around with the busted computer screen, attempting to bring it back to life. It sparks, and suddenly he hears his own voice over the intercom. Tucker: Uh... sorry. This is Tucker, I'm in the foyer. I'm just trying to figure out-- He's cut off as he hits a series of keys that turn the intercom back off. Well, at least everyone knows where he is now. Balinor jumps slightly as Tucker's voice suddenly pops up out of nowhere. William: Maybe you should go to him, Star, instead of waiting for him to find you... he's rather useless that way. Great kid, but a little less sharp than the other crayons in the box as far as common sense goes. Great mechanical sense though... Balinor agrees, but continues to read through Markus's file. Something just doesn't seem... right. She makes up her mind. She will definitely talk to him today. |

The soft clicking of her heels against the floor is easily heard as she begins to enter the main lobby of the first tower. She doesn't say anything though as she approaches Tucker, whether he noticed her coming up or not. Assuming he noticed, she'd speak as soon as she approached, but if he seemed concentrated, she would first wait around ten - maybe fifteen - seconds before finally speaking. "I'm ready when you are, Tucker." |

The computer screen is still cracked, but now it's showing a distorted, spider-webbed image. Tucker scratches the back of his head with a sloppy grin on his face. Tucker: It just needs new glass. Where should we start with you? Can you run a diagnostic and check where the most damage is? And... uh-- do you know where on you is an access panel? Or... He feels very silly speaking to her in this manner, about such things. He blushes. -- Balinor enters the main hall of the hospital and runs almost instantly into Markus Quake. He ducks his head and attempts to scurry past her, but her hand on his shoulder stops him mid-step. He looks up, and she can see that he is carrying a clipboard. Markus: Three more last night. He makes an abrupt report and tries again to leave, but she restrains him. Balinor: Did you attend Hashard University? Markus raises an eyebrow curiously. Markus: Yes. Balinor: Did you know Professor Shirley Eu? Markus drops his head again and looks at the floor. His body tenses. Markus: Yes. Balinor: Did you have class-- Markus cuts her off sharply. Markus: Hey, can we do this somewhere else? I have to bring this to the doctors so they can take care of the corpses. Then you can interrogate me all you want. Balinor releases his shoulder and he continues on his pre-determined route to the offices. Balinor follows closely. |

Can you run a diagnostic and check where the most damage is? And... uh-- do you know where on you is an access panel? Or..." Star tilts her head a bit as he blushes and simply nods a bit and holds a silence for moment so that the young man could gather himself a bit. "All of the damage sustained in battle is on my exterior shell and it's not hard to see where," as she motions to where obvious dents and cracks were, almost looking like what would've been bullet holes had her unusual alloy not stopped them. "As for the access panel, I don't believe I have one. I have what seems to be a storage compartment in both of my forearms, sides of my stomach, and thighs though ... I'm sure there's a way to view my systems that way if that's what you had in mind. I was able to charge an ion cannon from a ship by connecting some wires within one of those compartments." |

The scratches can be buffed out, but I need to analyze the alloy of your shell before I can do anything with it. I wouldn't want to make it worse. So, just... Do you have a piece that you can take off? He tries to keep in mind that Star is just an android built to look like a woman, that he really isn't asking her to undress, even though it certainly feels like he is. He feels his ears burning. Tucker: And, also, to get out the dents, I may need to remove the pieces that are dented so I can bang them out before I pull them out the rest of the way. It wasn't very complicated to do, but to explain, it seemed less sensical. -- Markus is sitting, Balinor is standing, it feels like a TV interrogation. Balinor sets a printout of Markus's employee record on the table and slides it over to him. Markus takes one look at it before looking away. Balinor: Can you explain this? Markus: Why should I? |

With that said she started to look at her arm a bit and seemed to search for a way to take piece off, screws, panels, seems, anything of the like. After several moments however, "There's no common way of taking off any pieces. No seems, no bolts or screws, and no panels. The most I can do at the moment is open up a compartment within one of the areas ... strange, there's no seems of any kind around those areas either. It's possible to examine the alloy without taking a piece off of me, yes?" The both of them were unaware how odd and alien the alloy actually was at this point, and chances were, they would soon find out a few new 'fun' surprises. |
Szyren Phoenix in Training 4/2/2008 3:14:16 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 122 | RE: Tenga Cuidado con Piedras Tucker: It is possible, but I need special tools... He spins out of his chair and gets to his feet and begins to make his way to "the shop". It's not far away. Once in the workshop, he digs around in a set of toolboxes before he finds what he's looking for. It looks like a spatula connected by a wire at its end to a watch on his wrist. Tucker: This will... should tell me the quality and basic chemical components of the alloy, as well as it's thickness, density, weight... the amount of pressure it can sustain... so on and so forth. He waves it in front of him, beckoning Star to come nearer. When she does he takes her arm and holds it out, moving the spatula-like apparatus over the appendage. The tool makes an odd pattern of beeps at random intervals, then a short series of high pitched ones follow, signifying that it's completed its analysis. Tucker looks at the readout on his wrist. ((Even with the big yellow letters I still forget...)) Sometimes you get a better perspective of things when they're up-side-down. |

She also seems interested in the results as he tilts the readout into his view.
