His father, Tyree, was a wealthy bank owner and socialite. His mother, Anna, was a calm, submissive housewife, prone to Tyree's raging fits of anger. Marek, from a very young age, inherited his father's sociopathy. He would sometimes even torture animals. Along with that, he showed an incredible, Sherlock Holmes-esque genius, being able to abduce incredible amounts of date from the smallest details. He was also an incredible rhetorician, being able to make great speeches. His genius always served him well. By age 16, he earned a doctorate in law, and by age 21, a doctorate in criminology. He was determined to get his sociopathic tendencies under heel, and use them against others of his kind. He worked as a private consulting investigator for a long time, before deciding to explore the universe and see how his abilities could be used.
