Alex Williams Captain and Opportunistic Adventurer 5/12/2007 11:20:59 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 64 | The East Side of Kendill Alex, Marcus, Nate and Scott were all on the crowded bus, making their way to Crown. Alex pulled out his phone again, and dialed Da'rel again. It rang a few times, and instead of voice-mail this time, someone answered. "Hey what's up?" D asked, and Alex said, "Not much man what's up wit'chou?" Da'rel laughed and asked, "Alex? Is that you homey? Ahh man I was just about to call you back dude!" Alex laughed too and said, "Yeah, I bet you were ya jerk. We're home right now on the bus, where you at?" "Yo, you remember the old spot right? Swifty's?" Alex replied, "How could I forget that old dive?" "I'm there man, come over and have a drink with me!" D said in an excited tone. "A'ight man, we'll be there in a few. Peace." "Peace!" Da'rel said, and they hung up. A few minutes later, they were in Crown and a few blocks from Swifty's Bar. Alex had the driver stop, and the group hopped off the bus. They walked down the street, and Alex was greeted by the familiar sounds of home. People arguing, loud music emanating from cars driving past, and people trying to hawk obviously stolen merchandise on street corners. "Yo yo my man!" A young kid yelled at Alex and his group as they walked past. "Wanna buy a watch? This slag'd cost 500 in the store! I givin' it away at a hundred!" The group just walked by, saying no as the kid immediately tried to sell it to the next person after them. "Some things never change." Marcus said, and they kept on walking. They walked in the door of Swifty's, and Da'rel looked to the door and nearly fell off his stool getting up. "Holy slag man! You guys are really here!" He yelled, disrupting a few people as he ran over to them. They all yelled their hellos back to him, as they exchanged rough hugs and pounds. After they'd all greeted eachother heartily, they all went to the bar, D sitting in the middle, with Alex and Scott on his right with Marcus and Nate on his left. "Hey man, can I get a couple shots?" Da'rel asked the bartender, to which the reply was a shot of dark alcohol in front of each of them. "To homecoming!" Da'rel said, to which the others replied, "TO HOMECOMING!" And they downed their drinks quickly. They all sat around a while, just shooting the breeze with eachother about what Alex and them'd been doing, drinking a little more. After a while though, Alex asked D, "So man, how've things been going here? Any of the big guys go down?" Da'rel's smile faded a bit, as he said, "Yeah.. Yeah alot've passed in the past year. From when you left, we only have one of the old OG's left. J-D, he's the only old dog now. Besides him, only me, Maddie and Harlem are calling the shots. Those are the only boys sittin' at that round table now.." Alex was stunned, and after a minute he just said, "Dang.. How'd this all happen?" he then thought, 'Jeez, there were twelve of them sittin' at the table when I left.. Only one of those now? And only four guys leading the clan?' Da'rel replied to him, in a very sobered tone, "'Bout seven months back's when ten've 'em bit it. They'd gathered at a house in The Bar, and somehow Moon got wind of it. Bombed it to the ground. Then another one got laid out a month after that, drive-by. Only J-D made it, he survived a drive-by and a Mooner on the bus trying to gut 'im with a knife. Two days later, he personally promoted me and the others to Table status." Alex was still absorbing all of it, when he asked, "So, how's this all affected everything?" Da'rel laughed a bit, and replied, "We've been so busy just protectin' our own in Crown, we've lost all the bits of control we used to have in Skid, Bar and Factories. Moon hasn't taken any of that stuff really, still stickin' to their spots. But we got all sorts of youngsters flying a rainbow of flags, claimin' turf in them areas. We've even got alot of punks steppin' up in here, but we're starting to even let THAT go. We're using all our power to stay alive man.. It's sad." Alex just said, "Yeah, yeah that is.." They continued drinking, silently, Alex and the others recovering from the blindside they'd just endured. It was so just, WOW, to all of them. To Alex and his, their whole home had been turned upside down. Alex looked at D, and said, "This ain't right. You and I know that, the whole set knows it. Why hasn't this changed?" Da'rel looked at him and said, "'Cause man, like I said. We ain't got enough leaders. We've still got a good number of soldiers, but no one to take 'em to battle. No one has enough experience out of them all to lead." They sat a minute, when Alex asked, "What about us? We were all close to that rank when we left; heck Nate was practically OG, J-D'll remember that. What do you think he'd say?" D smiled and said, "Remember, it's not just what J-D says no more. It's all of us at the Table. But I know that ya'll have my vote, and I'm sure J-D would agree. Maddie and Harlem, eh, don't know. But I think they'd easily see our point. Only thing is, doubt Scott'll get promoted, too young." Scott looked around Alex at Da'rel and said, "No hard feelings man, I know I'm not there yet." D smiled, and said, "Good kid. You're a good guy Scott, I like ya. You'll still have pull over the other soldiers though, you're real tight with A-dub, so people'll respect ya for that. But enough, why don't we head on over to J-D? We'll have a Table sit down within the hour fo' sure." They all agreed to that. They finished off their drinks, and walked out the back door to the small parking lot. "A'ight foo's, don't mind the mess a'ight?" Da'rel said as they climbed into his van. It was painted black, with 100% tinted windows and modified side doors for quick opening so people could bust out quick for a raid or whatever. They indeed saw the mess, beer bottles, ciggarette butts and a few boxes with old pizza in them littered the floor and back area. Alex thought he could see a pair of panties in the far back, but decided not to keep looking. They piled in, and Da'rel started driving towards the RCF headquarters so to speak. It was a club in the far east side of Crown, and it'd been owned by RCF leaders for years. It was a safe-haven for all members, where a red rag could get ya a free drink any day. They drove on, Alex excited to see J-D again, though sad due to the circumstances of the grave meeting they were about to attend. |
Alex Williams Captain and Opportunistic Adventurer 5/14/2007 11:21:29 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 64 | RE: The East Side of Kendill They drove through Crown District, further into the heartland of RCF turf. By the time they pulled up to the Krack Back Club, they couldn't even get out of the car without young kids throwing up signs of homey love, or hear people yelling, "Aw man it's Big D!" Truly this made Alex feel at home, and they walked into the club with a nod from each of the bouncers at the door. They walked down the steps onto the empty dance floor, and up to the bar. The guy behind the bar had been there for as long as Alex could remember, and some people said he had demon blood, claiming he'd been there since the club opened long ago. Of course they were just rumours, and although he was a large, intimidating guy with an eye-patch, he was always fairly nice. "Yo man, we gotta see J-D." D said, and the bartender opened up the waist high door in the bar to let them through. "I'll tell him you're here, Da'rel." The bartender said with a smile. With that, they walked on through and J-D led them up a flight of stairs, another flight of stairs, and down a hallway on the third floor. They came up to the heavy double doors, and Da'rel knocked out of respect. "Come in." They heard from the other side, and Da'rel opened the door and they stepped in. They saw J-D sitting at the Table, and he smiled as he saw them and waved them over. "Ahh, I see the prodigal sons have returned! Nate, Alex, Marcus.. And is that Scott?" J-D asked, as they all said yeah, it was them as they sat down. "Oh, it's good to see ya'll again! I trust Da'rel welcomed you." J-D said, and Alex replied, "Yeah, he made us feel at home again." J-D smiled, and said, "Ahh, but it doesn't feel like home, does it Alex?" Alex slowly shook his head no, and J-D continued, "And I'm sure you asked D, and he told you all that's happened, right?" Alex nodded. "Yes, things have gone to Heck in a hand basket around here, that's for sure. Now, Da'rel, why have you brought these guys here? I trust you have reason to bring them to the Table. A mere homecoming welcome wouldn't warrant such things." Da'rel stood and said, "Yes J-D, I want to know what you think of an idea Alex had. He knows our situation, and has something that could help us get back on our feet. He wants to become a leader, like you and I, to help regain the power and respect we've lost. I vote that yes, Alex, Marcus and Nate be promoted. I'm confident that they'll perform extraordinarilly well. What do you say?" J-D smiled, and said, "Yes, I agree too. Nate was about to get promoted when he left anyways, and Alex and Marcus are good men too. But we'll have to have Maddie and Harlem agree too. Let me give them a call." J-D gave Maddie and Harlem a call, both of them saying that they'd come to the Table quickly. A while later, about twenty minutes or so, they were both sitting down at the Table with the others, and J-D and Da'rel explained the proposition and informed them of their approval to it. There was a small discussion, but neither of the other two had a problem with the idea. They both remembered the group from earlier days, and said, "As long as they don't get us totally fragged, it's fine." It was settled then, and J-D went to a nearby locker and pulled out a box. He brought it to the Table and set it in front of Alex, Marcus and Nate. "Open it, and you'll see the symbols of status worn by the OG's that've led us before you. Pick an item and wear it well." J-D said, and Alex and the others considered for a minute. Nate took a thick ring, with a large ruby set in it with 'RCF 4 LIFE' written around the stone. Marcus took a silver watch, with small diamonds on the hour markers and red tinted glass cover. And Alex took a long silver chain, with a large red medallion with the letters OG engraved in it. After they'd selected their jewelry, J-D, Da'rel, Maddie and Harlem exchanged embraces with the new leaders. They all felt more confident, with new leaders beside them looking out for them, and Alex and his group more confident that perhaps now there home would be adequetly protected, both from outsiders and from itself. |
Alex Williams Captain and Opportunistic Adventurer 5/15/2007 12:22:20 AM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 64 | RE: The East Side of Kendill They all sat down, and Alex spoke first, "J-D, Da'rel, all you guys have been here right in the middle of it, as all this stuff has been happening. How do you think we can help out the most right now? What's the stuff that really needs doing?" J-D leaned forward a bit, and answered him, "Our biggest problem right now is that even Crown isn't totally secure. Mostly, yes, but we still have small gangs operating here. We need to secure Crown, and then we can move on to re-establishing our posts in the other districts. What you, Nate, and Marcus should do, is gather a personal group of Fiends for each of you. Nate remembers being under me, so he already knows how it goes. These people under you will be your lieutenants, and fulfill any jobs you need help with, or just need done. We've got a group of fourty members who've proved themselves. Each of you will select four of them, and that will be your squad. Any questions?" None of them needed to ask questions, and J-D smiled as he said, "Alright, me and the others will start calling up the guys, and they'll come here. You three can go downstairs, get a drink or something until they arrive." Alex, Nate and Marcus said alright, and filed out of the room and made their way to the main floor. They made there way down the stairs and to the bar. They all took a stool, and they all ordered a drink. "On the house guys." The bartender said as he handed them their drinks. They thanked him, and they began discussing things amongst themselves. "So, we're supposed to get our own squads now huh? Never thought I'd see the day when I had my own band of boys." Marcus said, and Nate smiled and said, "Yep, it'll be a trip." Alex took a sip of his beer, and said, "So, how do you think we should pick these kids?" Nate and Marcus looked at him with a slightly puzzled look, so Alex explained a little further, "I mean, I know I want guys that can handle themselves, and that're smart. I don't want pansies that'll mouth off at the wrong time and get killed. Ya know?" Nate and Marcus nodded, and Nate said, "Good thought.. True, we won't know any of these kids, or how they act and behave. Normally we could already have an idea, but not now.." They sat silent for a while, each of them taking drinks. Nate then looked up and said, "I know how we can decide." Alex looked over and said, "How? What do you have in mind?" Nate smiled and said, "Simple. Have them all just brawl. The last twelve or so standing will have proved themselves not only the strongest, but we'll end up with some of the smarter ones too. Smart kids know how to win a fight with technique, not just raw power." Marcus and Alex sat silent for a minute, thinking that that was actually an ingenious plan. They all agreed that was good, and sat back and relaxed, as a few members started coming into the club. After a while, J-D, Da'rel, Harlem and Maddie made their way downstairs too. They said they'd called all the prospects and they were on their way. By now, about twenty of the members were gathered on the dance floor. The other leaders sat at the bar too, and waited as until all the prospective squad recruits had arrived. Another fifteen minutes went by until all the members were there. J-D stood up and said, "Ya'll know why you're here! You're here to possibly get selected, to have the honor of becoming a squad member of one of these OGs!" J-D waved his hand towards Alex and his group. "Each of them will select four of you, to work for them personally!" J-D then turned around and said to them, "Alright, it's time to pick, in whatever fashion you see fit." He then sat down, as Alex, Nate and Marcus stood and stepped forward. Nate addressed the group on the floor, "We've been away for a while! All of you are new faces to us. Neither I nor my friends know how strong or smart any of you are, or however else you add up against the others! To decide who'll be selected, all of you will fight one another. The last twelve or so standing, or that haven't given up, will be selected from! Rules are no weapons, no SERIOUS injuries, and NO killing, obviously. Fight in groups, pairs, or alone, we don't care. You have one minute to prepare." And with that, he stepped back and sat down, Alex and Marcus following suit, as the group of kids below them started milling about, some of them grouping up, some just trying to figure out a good angle to go into the fight at. Nate eyed his watch, and a minute later, with a few people still milling around or discussing with their fellows, Nate yelled, "GO!" And the dance floor exploded, all the groups and individuals converging in the middle. Fists were flying, people were yelling, and a few people jumping on others and punching with ferocious strength and speed. Alex and the other leaders watched in amusemeant as they all fought for status, the honor of being directly under the leaders. They were proud of the heart all these kids had for what they believed in. The brawl only lasted a few minutes, and when only 15 or so were standing, most of them just looking up at the leaders, with two of the kids still going at it, Nate yelled, "Stop!" The two kids fighting promptly withdrew from eachother, and they then locked fists to show no hard feelings. Nate, Alex, and Marcus stood up again, and motioned the winners to line up at the bottom of the stairs coming up from the dance floor. Alex, Nate and Marcus quickly considered the group, and each of them chose four people, the ones they'd chosen coming up the stairs and standing by their leader. They all then asked the kids to say their names, and Alex listened to his group, "My name's Vince." A young man said, with blonde hair and pale complexion. "I'm Ashna, I'm honored." A young girl said, she had dark hair with a dark brown skin tone. "Tyson's the name." Another young man said, this kid with black hair and black skin. "I'm Max." The last young man said, he was short with white skin and a bald head. Alex then said to them, "Congradulations. I look forward to working, fighting, and living beside you all." He smiled, as J-D stood and addressed the remainder of the kids, inviting them to come back later, where they'd throw a special party tonight for everyone. Alex and his group gathered together, and they all introduced themselves to one another, Alex and Marcus claiming that their group was better, Nate merely shaking his head but smiling. |
Alex Williams Captain and Opportunistic Adventurer 5/15/2007 11:40:49 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 64 | RE: The East Side of Kendill The other kids had left, and J-D and the others had spoken with all of them a bit. Alex and Marcus said that they were gonna head out for a while, run errands and maybe start cleaning up home a bit. Nate said he wanted to stay a bit and talk with J-D some more, since they used to be really tight and close. So, Alex and Marcus left the building, each with their respective groups of followers. They had gone a block or so from the club, and Alex and Marcus started talking. "So," Alex started, "What're your plans for the evening good chap?" Marcus smiled and said, "Not much. Probably go with the kids back to their cribs so they can get heaters, then maybe cruise around the trouble spots, see if we can convince these other punks to get out. If they don't listen to reason," Marcus made a gun with his hand and went, "Click, CLACK!" Alex just shook his head and said, "Yeah, I'll probably do the same. I might take 'em back to the ship for a minute, so I can grab my AK. Might as well go out prepared, right?" Marcus smiled again and said, "Riiight. Alright man, we'll talk later. Ya'll gonna head back to the club tonight?" Alex shrugged and said, "Dunno, see how busy we are." He looked at his squad with a smile, then waved to Marcus and his clan as they went one way down another street. They walked another block or so, when Max walked on up next to Alex, "So boss, what're we gonna do first? You said you gonna go grab your AK? You just gonna walk around with it slung over your shoulder or what?" Alex just smiled and said, "Heck no. That's just foolish. We gotta secure a ride first. How many of you know how to hotwire a vehicle?" Alex slowed down and looked at them; only Max and Ashna raised their hands. "Alright then," Alex said, "Ya'll are gonna pay attention in a few minutes. You can't always just jack a car off the street. It's alot easier finding a parking lot, with cars for the picking and no one around you gotta hold up." They continued walking another block, when Alex saw what should prove a decent place to find a car. "Let's check this pawn shop's lot." He said, as they walked down the alley that would lead into the middle of the block where there would most likely be a parking lot, or atleast a few cars. They came upon the parking lot behind the various businesses and buildings of the block, and indeed there were a few cars, a van, and two trucks. "Alright," Alex said, "Which vehicle should we take?" His kids considered a minute, and they all ended up pointing to one of the nicer cars with a real flashy paint job, tinted windows, and a chrome or platinum trim. "Haha, that'd be nice to cruise in I'm sure. But no, that's not a good idea right now." They all looked at him with confused faces, and Tyson asked, "Why the heck not?" "Well," Alex started, "For starters, it's too flashy. We're gonna be shakin' down the block in a bit. We'll already be attracting attention, don't need the added attention of a nice car. Second, it's only got room for four. We couldn't even squeeze in one of you. I'd say we should pick that black sedan. I know, I know it aint too pretty, but it'll seat all of us fine. Plus, it's a common car, aint gonna do much good for anyone to say, 'Yeah! They was in a black fordor!'." They all nodded in understanding, and Alex waved them over as he walked towards it. "Now, first step, make sure no one's looking." They all checked, and the place was deserted. "Alright, second, get in. Now, we're lucky, there's no alarm on this thing. Course that's an easy thing to overcome too, but I'll get to that in a second. Normally, it's good to have something to jimmy the lock, but in this case, we don't. So..." Alex said, as he picked up a nearby piece of concrete and smashed out the window. To his relief, there wasn't any alarm, and he opened up the door. "Now, Vince and Tyson, watch closely." Alex said, as he brushed the glass off the seat and laid down to look under the steering wheel. Vince and Tyson crouched down close together to see what he was doing. "First, ya gotta get rid of this!" Alex said as he put quite a bit of effort into prying off a piece of plastic covering the under side of the steering column. With it off, several sets of wires were exposed. "Now, in the case of a car alarm; there would be an additional wire, with this group of four wires; it'd most likely be red or green. Cut that, and the alarm stops. Now, you find the two white wires," Alex showed them, "Cut them," Alex did that with his pocket knife, "And finally, you click those two together, and presto!" Alex said, as the engine started purring and the car lifted a little bit, the hover pads kicking in, "You got yourself a ride." Vince and Tyson smiled, and Max and Ashna applauding Alex that he hadn't lost his skills, being gone for a year. They climbed in, Ashna in the front, with the boys in the back, and they started toward The Gateway. They drove a while, windows down and the radio up high. Alex could already tell that he'd selected a good bunch; they were street smart, intelligent, tough, and they were a fun bunch of kids. They got to The Gateway, and Alex made his way to the parking lot where his ship was. They drove up to the booth, Alex showed the attendant his parking slip, saying he needed to get some stuff from his ship, and they let him in. He drove down a few rows, until he was parked next to his ship. "Alright, ya'll sit tight, I'll be out in a minute." Alex said as he got out of the car. Ashna changed the station to something a little more R&B, more girly, and he heard the guys shout in disgust. "This slag blows Ash! Change it!" Vince yelled, to which Ashna said, "No way! I'm the co-pilot! In the case of the pilot leaving, radio station priviledges go directly to ME!" She finished by sticking her tongue out at them, and they all just leaned back with 'whatever' looks on their faces. Alex just grinned, finishing punching in the ship's security code. The door hissed open and he went inside. Alex made his way to the quarters, where he grabbed a duffle bag. He went to the kitchen first, and grabbed the half empty case of beer they had left. He put it in the bottom of the bag. He then reached up in the cupboard and snatched the carton of smokes they had, setting them on top of the box of beer. He then carried the sack to where they kept their guns, and grabbed his AK. He realized it wouldn't fit in the bag, so he just slung it over his shoulder for now and zipped the bag up, carrying it out to the car. He got outside and shut the door, and restarted the ship's security system, and started walking back to the car. "Oh thank God! ALEX!" Vince yelled, "Tell her to change the station man! This slag's WHACK!" Alex smiled as he got to the car and opened up the back door. He put the duffle bag on the floor in front of Max, and opened it. He pulled out each of them a pack of smokes and said, "If ya'll are thirsty, there's brews in there. Drink one or two, but don't get wasted. Gotta keep your head straight on a mission, remember that." He shut the door and walked around the car and got in the driver's seat. He set the AK by Ashna's feet and said, "Oh, and about the radio. I like this song, so shut the frag up." "Aww weak man!" The guys said, and Ashna clapped her hands and said, "Haha, I'm the favorite! You guys suck!" Alex smiled, and they started off again. |
Alex Williams Captain and Opportunistic Adventurer 5/16/2007 12:29:03 AM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 64 | RE: The East Side of Kendill They left The Gateway, heading back into Crown. They drove to the crib that Tyson, Vince and Max shared. They ran up into the apartmeant building, grabbed the guns they had from their apartmeant, and barreled out the front door. Max dove into the middle in the back, Tyson slid across the trunk and got in on the far side, and Vince climbed in after Max. Alex shook his head and they headed towards Ashna's place. She shared an apartmeant with a few other girls and guys, all of them RCF. She ran up into her apartmeant, and a minute later, before she was out, they heard shouting from the second floor. "Alex! ALEX!" It was a girl. Alex slid out the window and sat on it, so he was able to rest his arms on the roof and look up. "Remember me?! It's Sadie! Can't believe you're back baby!" Alex just rolled his eyes and got back into the car. "Who was that?" Max asked with a smile, leaning forward to put his face next to Alex's. "No one. Sadie, girl I used to hook up with here. She loves me or something. Whatever though, she's a little psycho." The guys laughed and started rattling Alex's cage about how he has a stalker. Ashna was out by now, and got into the car, a smile across her face. "Figured she'd wanna say high. Ya know, she STILL talks about you." Ashna said, to which Alex replied, "I hate you. You're gonna have to work hard now to regain the status of favorite." Ashna frowned, but couldn't hold it and started laughing. They drove off, heading towards the areas that were causing them trouble. "So," Alex started, turning down the music, "Where should we start? We're cleaning house right now, so who're some of the groups causing us the most trouble, or showing the most disrespect?" Tyson piped up, "Yeah, I got an idea. There's a pool hall, north side of Crown near Skid. Called Paulie's Pool; a group of nearby kids, headed by an older kid, are always hanging out there. They sell drugs and stuff, and have beaten up a few of our pushers and members when we try to take back the territory. They send out about three at a time to patrol in The Skid selling, but the rest play pool and drink there, and sell out of the hall. I say we go and evict 'em." Alex smiled and said, "Alright, let's go." They sped forward a bit, and Alex followed the directions of the kids, taking them right up to the front door of Paulie's. They parked at the end of the block, got out and walked toward the pool hall. "Alright, keep the straps in your pants unless you need to blow the heat. Just beat the slag out of 'em; we just need to send a message, that disrespect is not tolerated... Wait, naw, kill one of 'em. But drag 'em into the street." They all nodded affirmation, and by now they were at the door. Alex went in first, followed by his group. Indeed, there was a group of kids in there, about seven of them. Apparentally they liked yellow; all of them were wearing yellow hoodies. The oldest kid, the leader of them, noticed them first, and yelled, "Who're you? More Crown punks? Ya'll lost the right to deal around here! Get it through your skulls!" Alex and his group walked towards him, and Alex said, "You didn't earn slag. This is CROWN District! It's run by us. I'm telling you now, get out of here, or we'll frag your slag up." The yellow kids all stood and started walking towards them, the bartender at the back backing up to the wall and making sure he could duck for cover if they started firing. By now, the yellow leader was a few inches from Alex's face, and he said, "Oh yeah? Back up your words or back yourself outta here." Alex didn't even bother with a response, he just swung his fist. Alex dropped the leader with that punch, and was on him in an instant. He was punching him left and right across the face, already having bloodied his nose. Alex's squad and the other kids were brawling, a few of the yellow kids swinging pool sticks at them. Alex, having beaten the leader up quite well, got off him and gave a final kick to his side, causing him to curl into a fetal position, probably trying to ease the pain of cracked ribs. Vince was taking two kids on at once, while the others were duking it out with individuals. One of them had already dropped a kid, who was limping to the back of the building. Alex drew his Lern and fired a shot into the kid's leg, causing him to drop with a scream of pain. He just held it to his side, watching Vince drop one of the kids he was fighting, as Max broke a pool stick over another kid's head, causing that kid to fall over, knocked out. Max helped Ashna take on her kid, and by the time that kid was down, Vince and Tyson had downed their opponent too. Alex took a quick look around, making sure all of them were out of commission. He then bent down and grabbed the leader's hood, and began dragging him toward the entrance. Alex drug him outside, his kids following him, and the yellow leader coughing and wimpering, "What the frag man? Come on! Chill out man chill out! What're you doing?!" He finished, as Alex picked him up to his feet and threw him on his back onto the hood of a car. "You should've listened! You shouldn't've disrespected the Red Crown Fiends. You could've joined, your whole group, and you could've still been selling right now. But in Crown, NO ONE, operates without our consent." Alex then drew his Lern and pointed it at his face, to which the kid yelled and screamed, "NO! Don't do it man don't do it! Come on I got a baby!" Alex laughed and said, "Ahh, I doubt you got a kid. Don't lie to me. And don't worry, I aint gonna do SLAG to you. My boy Tyson will though." Alex then looked at Tyson. "Wha, what? You want me to blast him?" Tyson asked, and Alex could see the hesitation in his eyes. "YES, I want you to KILL this punk! Tyson, you've never killed before, have you?" Tyson slowly shook his head, and Alex said, "How're you gonna protect your home, if you can't kill? If you don't kill the guy pointing a gun at you, he'll kill YOU! Do it, prove to me you ain't pansy!" Tyson hesitated, but then pulled out his Rock Island 1911A1, pointed it at the kids head, and fired. *BANG*, *BANG* *BANG* the shots rang out, as Tyson shot two bullets into the kid's head and one to the chest. "Come on, let's go." Alex said, putting his gun away and leading his crew back to the car. They got in, Tyson still holding his gun, and they headed back towards the club. Alex'd let them unwind a bit, and take them out again tomorrow... |

Alex had the others go into the club, since the party was already started, but kept Tyson outside with him for a sec. "Come on, let's walk." Alex said, lighting up a ciggarette as Tyson walked along with him. The walked down the block and turned, walking up the other side of it. Tyson lit up too; he hadn't talked much on the way back, and Alex could see he was still dealing with those first-kill jitters. "Tyson, how old are you?" Alex asked, halfway down the other side of the block. "17 sir." He replied, taking a long drag, and letting it out with a slightly shakey breath. "Alright, well, not so bad then. I figured you were 19 or so. But Tyson, how old do you think *I* am?" Alex asked, as Tyson looked at him. "23, maybe 25?" He answered, and Alex smiled, "Pretty good, I'm twenty-five. Tyson, got in this slag when I was fifteen. That's ten years ago, and I've only been gone for a year. I repped, hard core, for nine years straight. I killed my first enemy two weeks after I joined. I've killed, maimed, mutilated, SO many people in nine years, protecting myself, my family and my homies. Do you know how you get to the status of OG?" Tyson thought a minute, trying to figure out exactly what he thought Alex wanted to hear, and finally answered, "Gain enough experience and respect from your fellow Fiends." Alex smiled and said, "Good answer, but you know how you get all that experience and respect? You gotta stay ALIVE. And you do that, by killing your enemies before they kill YOU. You're a good kid, and I know it was difficult tonight, but you did good. But if you don't wanna end up six feet under, you gotta stop hesitating. You gotta remember that hesitating gets you killed. You understand all this?" Tyson nodded, and Alex put his hand on his shoulder and squeezed a bit. "Good, now let's go back to the club and celebrate. We're all gonna go out again tomorrow, so be sure to tell Vince and Max to be ready." "Sure thing Alex!" Tyson said, as they walked up to the door of the club, having already circled the block, and they went inside. Inside the club, MANY people had come to party that night. All the kids from earlier, plus many others. Alex didn't go down through the dance floor, he made his way around it on the raised level towards the back. There was a board-room type place at the far end of the bar, a group of tables and chairs behind a door. VIP so to speak, where only the higher ranked members and OG's went. Talk business, unwind a bit, get away from the youngsters sometimes. Alex walked up to the large man in front of the door, and he stood aside and opened the door for him. Alex walked in, seeing Marcus, Nate, J-D, Harlem, Maddie, Da'rel, and a few other people Alex didn't know. He sat down at a table, next to Nate and Marcus, and grabbed Marcus's beer and took a drink. "Oh yeah, go ahead jerk." Marcus said with a smile as he lightly slapped Alex on the shoulder. "Ahh, so how'd your night go?" Alex asked, and Marcus replied, "Eh, so so. Shook down a group of kids selling out of a laundromat, and a few other kids trying to open up a chop shop. A few assaults, but that's it. How about you?" Alex shook his head and said, "Took out a group of kids selling out of Paulie's Pool Hall, you know, the place on the border of Skid? Yeah, beat them all to a pulp. Then I drug the leader outside, and had one of the virgins kill him." Marcus looked at him funny, then just said, "Dang.. You don't waste no time do you? Just dive in head first eh?" Alex shrugged and said, "Yep, pretty much. Though the kid was asking for it, and I figure heck, we kill one dealer kid, leading a bunch of others, we might just scare off a bunch of the other small timers. Who knows though. Nate! How'd you do tonight?" Nate just looked over at him and said, "Basically same as Marcus. Shook down a few kids, though didn't do much fighting. Most of the punks were REAL young, nearly wet themselves just seeing me and the group. But still, cleared up quite a bit. Even did an errand for Harlem, picked up this week's protection money from a few blocks." Alex smiled and said, "Cool, cool." They all sat around for a while, drinking beers and unwinding from the first day back. After a while, quite a while in fact, J-D got up and said, "Well guys, I'm gonna hit the sack. Alex, Marcus, Nate, ya'll have rooms on the second floor. Here're the keys," J-D handed each of them a room key, and he continued, "I'd stay up but I gotta do some personal business early tomorrow morning. Have a good one." J-D then left the lounge, leaving the rest of them to enjoy the evening. After another few hours, Alex decided he'd go to bed too. He was thoroughly drunk, and had done more than his share of dancing, much to the claps and cheers of the other OGs and kids. He nearly stumbled into the door of his room, and managed to get the key in after several tries. He opened the door and walked in, and was actually surprised to see one woman sitting on the couch watching TV, and another woman lounging on the bed. Both of them were scantilly clad. "Alex," the woman on the bed said, "We know you had a hard day... Would you like us to help you, unwind?" Alex stood there a second, then busted up laughing. "Ahaha! Oh jeez, J-D's a kick in the butt! Awww, thanks but no thanks sweetie." Alex said, kicking off his shoes and laying on the bed next to her. "I'm tired. Maybe another time." And with that, he promptly passed out, falling into a deep sleep aided by the large amount of alcohol in him. |
Alex Williams Captain and Opportunistic Adventurer 5/17/2007 4:30:16 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 64 | RE: The East Side of Kendill Alex awoke to someone laying next to him. He rolled over to see who it was, and nearly fell off the bed cause he jumped. "Hey sexy!" Marcus yelled, and started laughing. "Dang dude, wake up! It's uppie time! It's 3 pm!" Alex looked over at the clock, and indeed, the green numbers read '3:07 PM'. Alex decided that yes, it was a wee bit late. He got up off the bed, and noticed that Marcus wasn't in his clothes. "Heh, they still got the OG Open Closet?" Alex asked, which Marcus replied to with a, "Heck yeah!" Alex smiled, stretched, and had Marcus come with him to the closet. The closet, a strange notion by some people, was adored by RCF high ranks. The gang spent alot of money on good clothes, which were used to outfit the high ranked members. There was a motto written above the doors to the large walk in, 'We Look Fly, No Lie.' A materialistic luxury? Yes, but still, Alex loved it. Alex walked in, and started considering his options. After a bit of Marcus putting in his two cents, and Alex finding some gear he really liked, he walked out of the closet. He defineatly looked nice, outfitted in a pair of black Chuck T's with red laces, black Dickie's style work pants, a black wife-beater and a large red hoodie, with a black fitted cap. Marcus gave the thumbs-up, and Alex and him made their way down stairs to the lounge. Alex flipped open his phone and dialed up the guys, telling them to make their way to the club. He then dialed Ashna, telling her to come down as well. They arrived shortly after, and when all of them had arrived they knocked on the door to the lounge. Alex bid Marcus farewell, since he was still waiting for his crew, and walked out. "Come on kids, let's ride." Alex said, and his crew went with him outside. Alex had decided that they'd keep the car they jacked yesterday, since it was a capable vehicle and could fit all them comfortably. They climbed in, and this time instead of Alex driving, he told Tyson to take the wheel. Alex rode shotgun, and they just started driving. They had been driving for a bit, when Alex turned down the radio to talk to the kids. "Alright, everyone's strapped right?" They all said yeah. "Ok, so I've heard rumor that there're a moderate number of guys selling a LOT of drugs near a motel. You guys know anything about that?" Max talked first, "Yeah, motel near The Skid. The Motel Five, kinda in the corner of Crown, near Gateway and Skid. They have a source flying it in, then they take it and sell it to the tenants of the motel, plus all the junkies in Skid." The others affirmed that yes, that was true. "Alright, well let's head over that way." Alex said, and Tyson took a turn down another street, heading them in the direction of the motel. They got to the area a little bit later, and Alex told the kids to lay low, just observe as they drove down the block of the motel. They did, and watched as they saw a group of five thug looking kids, all chilling against the wall of the motel. It was confirmed they were selling, as a not so pretty street walker walked up to one of them with Tape, and exchanged it for what looked like a few rocks. "Alright kids," Alex said as they turned the corner of the block, preparing to drive around that side again, "Drive-by time. We'll circle the block, and we'll hit 'em. Tyson, drive to the middle of the block and stop, so we're right ahead of them. Me, Ashna, and Vince will fire. Vince, roll down your window and slip out, fire over the top of the car. We'll hit 'em, and then we're gonna drive to the other side of the block and get out. There're bound to be more people inside. Clear?" They all nodded affirmation, as they started checking their weapons to see if they were locked and loaded. They circled the block, and as they approached the point where they'd stop, they rolled down their windows and Alex cranked the radio. A satisfying beat emanated from the car, and Tyson jerked it to a stop, Alex, Ashna and Vince climbing out the windows and lifting weapons. "Oh SLAG!" One of the guys yelled, reaching for his piece. "RCF FOR LIFE!" Alex yelled, and started firing his AK. Ashna and Vince following suit, each of them firing their pistols. Alex did most of the work, firing the full clip in one burst, mowing down four of them for sure, perhaps Ashna or Vince taking down the fifth one. They didn't even fire off a shot, took 'em by surprise. They quickly drove around to the other side of the block. "Let's go!" Alex said, and they all jumped out of the car and ran towards the motel... |
Alex Williams Captain and Opportunistic Adventurer 5/19/2007 4:17:40 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 64 | RE: The East Side of Kendill As they ran down the sidewalk, Alex quickly popped out the empty clip and replaced it, just as they burst through the door of the motel. Alex raised his AK as the others fanned into the room a bit, guns up as well. The clerk just raised his hand and opened the drawer, grabbing a handful of money and saying, "Don't shoot man! Take it!" Alex and the others saw that none of the other gangsters were in the lobby or in the area, so Alex walked up to the counter, half lowering his gun. "I'll take that," Alex said, taking the money from the clerk's hand, and reaching over the counter and grabbing most of the other money out of the register. "Now," Alex started, "Are any of those guys in here anywhere?" The clerk just looked at him and said, "What guys?" Alex whipped the AK up and put it in his face. The barrel was nearly in the guy's mouth and Alex yelled, "You KNOW what guys I'm talking about! ARE THEY HERE OR NOT?!" The clerk let out a half whimper, half squeek and said, "Yeah they're here! They're up in rooms 212 and 213!" Alex lowered the weapon and smiled at him, and he said, "Thanks buddy." And with that, Alex led his group to the elevator. They went to the second floor, and made their way down the hall towards 212. "Alright, bust in and fire." Is all that Alex said, as they gathered around the door of room 212. They could hear music inside, and underlying sounds of people having 'relations'. Alex was at the front of the group, and brought up his foot and thrust it forward. The door burst open, nearly coming off it's hinges, and they rushed inside. There were several people inside on the beds, and pair of people sitting at the table smoking a rock. They all started to jump up at the sight of Alex and his group, but they had no chance. Alex fired a burst into the two smoking, then turned and fired a burst into the two on one of the beds. Ashna and Max were in right behind him, and they took out the people on the other bed. After making sure all of them were dead, Alex and his group started raiding the room. Alex looked into a back-pack on the floor, and seeing that it had a brick of Moon Dust and a baggie of rocks, he took it. The others found a few stashes of cash, and took that too. They made their way out of the room again, and right across the hall was 213. Alex kicked open that door too, but was surprised that none of the gangsters were in there. A few hookers all jumped up and screamed, but Alex just told them to calm down. They did, and he asked, "Where are the other gangsters?" One of the girls, a blonde said, "They were supposed to come up in a few minutes. They were all outside selling a while ago." Alex just looked at her and said, "Well ya'll might as well leave, they're dead." And with that, Alex took in a sweep of the room, but couldn't find anything of value. They exited the room, went down the elevator and back outside. They all piled in the car, again Tyson took the wheel. "Where to boss?" Tyson asked, to which Alex replied, "Paulie's Pool." They then started moving, and within a few minutes they were parked on the curb right outside of the pool hall. They got out and went inside. The bartender looked up and just said, "Ahh slag, look, there're no more hoodlums for you to shoot in here!" Alex looked at him and said, "Good, then you won't mind if we and some of our friends come and play pool?" The bartender just looked and said, "Yeah, that's what'cha call it. Whatever man, just don't break anything or kill me. And buy a drink once in a while, or atleast PAY to play pool!" Alex just laughed a bit and said, "I'll tell them to be nice to you." Alex then flipped open his phone and dialed up J-D. "Hey, J-D? Yeah I just scored us some primo product. Can ya send a selling crew to Paulie's Pool Hall, the place right by the Skid? Alright man, thanks, later." Alex then set the AK down, which he'd been absently carrying, and the others put their heaters away. "Well, we'll have a crew over here in a bit. Who wants to get their butt kicked at pool?" Alex asked the group, and they all grabbed a stick to play. About fifteen minutes later, Alex saw Da'rel and his van pull up, and a group of 8 RCF guys got out. Da'rel waved at Alex as they got out and he sped off. The group came in the door, all young kids except for the one in the front. He was probably sixteen or seventeen. The leader walked forward and shook Alex's hand, saying, "Here to sell product Alex. It's awesome to meet you." Alex grinned and handed him the back-pack. The kid looked inside and said, "Dang! How'd you get this kind of stuff?" "Long story, but it's ours now. You know what to do with it." Alex said, as he clapped him on the shoulder. "We're gonna stay a bit I think," Alex said, "Keep an eye out for a bit, play some pool. You don't mind?" Alex asked, and the kid said, "Of course not. Always good to have an OG with us." And so they resumed shooting pool, and soon after, the junkies started coming in, and they left satisfied customers... |
Alex Williams Captain and Opportunistic Adventurer 5/20/2007 5:31:40 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 64 | RE: The East Side of Kendill Alex, his group, and the selling crew stayed till the bartender started closing shop. They'd sold alot of product; the junkies had really started coming in when word that they were selling Moon Dust was out. They ended up chopping up a quarter of the brick for individual people. A very nice profit for RCF that night. Alex and his group parted ways from the selling crew, and they got into the car. Alex took the wheel this time, and said they'd head back to the club for the night. They drove back home, and at the club parked outside the front doors. Alex's crew went in first, and when Alex walked up to the doors, a bouncer stopped him. "Harlem wants to see you. He says he's in the back lot, behind the club." Alex nodded and gave him a few tape, and walked down the front of the club to the alley, which ran alongside the building to the back. Alex emerged from the alley, and saw Harlem and Da'rel, along with a few other people, gathered around D's van. They were listening to music and chatting, probably waiting for Alex. Alex walked towards them and asked, "Yo Harlem, what's up?" Harlem looked at Alex and said, "Just the man I'm lookin' fo'." Harlem was a tall guy, VERY tall guy. At 6'6", and close to three hundred pounds, he was intimidating, to say the least. Alex walked up and clapped an arm around him and said, "Well I'm here man, what did ya need to talk to me about?" Da'rel turned up the music a bit, and Alex could tell they were about to talk about very hush-hush business. "Look man, word has it that there's a Mooner, or a group of 'em, in the Skid, right now. But they ain't just there sellin' or stuff like that, they're gathering intel. But, we don't know what for... These guys have watched our boys, and not even challenged 'em or nothin'. Course our boys didn't know they was Moon Street at the time, they were dressing like junkies or other characters. But our people over there, been talking how they're talking with Mooners rollin' through, and we wanna know what's going on. We want you to take your crew, tonight, and find these guys. Find out what they're doing, or atleast, dispose of them before they get anything else out to Starlight. Can ya do that?" Alex nodded his head and said, "No problem Harlem. Yo, you think I can get a ride from back here?" Harlem smiled and said, "No prob man, what'cha need?" Alex considered a minute, then said, "I need a van. Somethin' not only good for drive bys and haulin' my crew in, but somethin' we can burst out of too for a raid. Sounds like I might need that tonight." Harlem put an arm around him and started walking him towards a corner of the lot. "I got just the thing for that!" Harlem said, as he led Alex to a very common, easily mistaken blue van. It had tinted windows, and was a little beat up looking on the outside. But the inside was nice; it had a couple racks for holding long arms, a box for clips, and it had some tape, rope and hand cuffs in the back: perfect for kidnapping. Alex pounded a fist with him and said, "Perfect man." As Harlem handed him the keys. Alex called Ashna up, and told her to gather up the crew, they were leaving on a mission. Alex had driven the van from the back lot and up to the front of the club. He saw the kids standing on the curb, waiting for him. Alex slowly drove up the street and stopped in front of them. He slowly rolled down the window, and asked in a creepy voice, "Hey kids, ya wanna see a puppy?" They all just rolled their eyes and laughed at him, and climbed in. Max got in shotgun, and asked him, "Yo man, why'd we have to leave the party? Thought we was done for the night? Fo' real this better be good, I had this fine honey all over me in there!" Ashna poked her head forward and said, "Yeah, she was REAL fine. She looked like a cow, with a dog face and a pig nose man!" Max just turned and glared at her, and Alex spoke before they could start argueing more. "Chill ya'll. Look, this ain't just another mission to clean up Crown. We've got Mooners, and they've been watching our boys. The higher ups are worried they're planning a move on us, so we've gotta go find these guys and find out what's up. Or atleast, dispose of 'em, before they get more information back to their set." The kids all sat back, and started chattering about how much Mooners stunk, and this that and the other thing. Alex drove them into Skid, and the mission began. |
Alex Williams Captain and Opportunistic Adventurer 5/20/2007 6:11:22 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 64 | RE: The East Side of Kendill Alex and his crew drove up and down the streets of the Skid. Alex had called up Harlem and asked if he had an idea of where the Moon Street guys were. Harlem replied, "We don't know for sure. But they've been seen hanging around 'High Mary's Food Bank,' and the surrounding area. Ask people around there, they might point you in the right direction. Sorry I don't have more for you man." "No problem, peace." Alex said as he shut the phone and began driving towards the food bank. They finally spotted it, and pulled up to the curb and got out. Alex made sure that his AK was covered by a blanket in the back, and that nothing else valuable could be seen from the outside. He locked the doors, and glared at a bum hobbling over and peering into the window. "Don't touch ANYTHING." Alex said as he lifted his shirt to show the handle of his Lern. The bum just grunted and walked away mumbling. Alex and his crew walked about half the block, when Alex said, "Wait, back to the van." Alex had them go back into the van and re arrange their clothing. Alex realized that if they were trying to find Moon Street boys, it'd tip 'em off REAL fast if guys wearing red were asking for 'em. Alex took off his red hoodie, and the others took off their rags and covered up or took off any prominent red clothing. Feeling that they all looked pretty normal, they again left the van, and again locked everything up. They walked around for a while, encountering mostly bums and junkies so tweaked out, they couldn't remember their own names. The came upon a group of street girls and their daddy, and Alex stopped and talked to them. "Yo mang, you lookin' fo' a bit o' company tonight? Mah girls'll keep you and yo's happy ALL night long!" Alex and his group just stood there, and Alex said, "No, we're fine. We're not lookin' for girls. We're lookin' for some people. Think you can help us?" Alex held out a hundred tape, but when the pimp reached for it Alex withdrew it. "Ah ah ah, I haven't even asked you yet. Now, we're lookin' for a guy, or maybe a couple guys, that aren't from around here. They've been here a week or so, slumming here and watching those Crown guys. You know anything about people like that?" The pimp thought a minute, then smiled, showing a gold tooth. "Ahh, I know a little about that. But since yo' so nice to me, I'll tell you who to ask, and I know that he'll know all about anyone like that." Alex handed him the Tape, and the pimp then said, "A few blocks down, there'll be an old store turned house. There's a big sign above the doors that says 'Sparky's Den'. Knock three times and say that Juicy sent you. That guy's a CRAZY dude, really paranoid and stuff. He's my brother. He knows anything about ANYTHING around here." Alex and his group said thanks, and they made their way down the street. A few blocks later, they came upon the old store front. The sign confirmed it, and Alex knocked three times. "Who's there?" A shaky voice asked from inside, and Alex said, "Juicy sent me. Said you could help me." The door opened a crack, and a blood-shot eye looked out at them. "Wha whaddya want?" The guy asked, and Alex said, "Just need info on some people in the area. Can we come in?" The eye darted around a second, then the guy said, "Yeah sure but come in quick! Quick quick quickly!" The door flung open, and Alex and his group quick quick quickly walked inside. The guy shut the door and locked it, in three different spots, and turned and faced them. He was a skinny guy. VERY skinny guy, and it looked like he drank alot of coffee, and that he stayed strung out for days on end. "S, so what'cha need?" The skinny guy asked, and Alex said, "Word is that some guys, possibly guys from Moon Street, are here posted in the Skid. Gathering info on Crown. You know anything about that?" The guy smiled a smile that only had half its teeth, and he quickly darted over to a cluttered desk. He was mumbling to himself as he searched for a pen and paper, and after finding the pen he blurted out, "Yeah, yeah I know where they are! Crazy people if you ask me. Stay up all night and all day and all night! Watchin' the borders of Crown hard! I hear they have spy equipmeant too! I think they been watchin' me too, cause three nights ago when I slept, I woke up and my head was vibratin' a second! Yeah, I help you find 'em." He jotted down some info onto a piece of note paper, and he handed it to Alex. "Here," the skinny guy said, "I confirmed a day ago that they're staying in this tenement building! Somewhere on the third floor. Saw a telescope sticking out from a window one night I did!" Alex just smiled, and said, "Uh, thanks bud." The skinny guy waved at them as he nearly pushed them out the door after unlocking it. They all stood on the sidewalk for a minute, with Alex finally breaking the silence, "Well, that was interesting. Alright, let's head over to that tenement." And they started walking again, in hope that soon they'd be able to resolve this situation. |
