| locust Homeless 9/12/2007 10:48:57 PM Level: 1 Experience: 0 Total Posts: 58 | welcome to lars the small merc transport enters the atmospher and instantly begins taking fire from a enemy base. some of the new mercs who never had a rough entry were screaming bloody murder. the pilot calls over the com "Locust get back there and check the engine" locust runs to the engine room and opens the door insted of seeing a room he sees flames licking at the sides of the wall he shuts and locks the blast doors "so whats wrong" "um... your going to need a new engine" says locust pushing the comm button the ship rocks as it is hit by another flac round. locust hears a explosion and screaming he looks and sees the entire right side fall out as a sam hits the side and severl mercs fall out and 2 holding onto the seats. a person yells over the sound of the air "We all are going to die man,we're doomed". over the comm the pilot says "ok grab your air,your guns, your shoots, and get ready to jump". locust grabs his gun and puts it over his shoulder and lowers his gas mask the world turning a green color throught the masks green eyes. he checks his boot for his knife locust looks and sees hes the only demon. the new mercs jump first locust jumps right befor the pilot and unfolds his wings and glides down. locust sees the ground rushing him and folds his wings, but soon he see he is still about 20ft from the ground. locust tries to unfold his wings but hes falling to fast he hits the ground with a thud and rolls down the rocky ground cusing. he finaly stops when he hits a boulder. the pilot yells "you ok" "dont worry the ground broke my fall along with 1 of my elbow bones" says locust staggering up looking at his broken elbow blade 'it'll heal' thinks locust. locust checks his weapons all ok although his mask right eye is broken. The ground broke my fall. |

Over the comm the pilot says "anyone have Striker". A ork merc stands up holding a Striker he aims, theres a beep and the ork fires the rocket.The rocket flies through the air and hits one of the wings, the fighter spins to the ground and exploads. The mercs cheer at the sight of the explosion. Locust walks over to the pilot and asks "So where did we land" "About 1 mile from Peyos border" says the pilot "Well it could be -" just as he says that he hears. Locust turns around and sees the mercs running down the hill one says over the comm "IN Coming Sidewinder". The pilot says "Wheres the ork with the Striker" "He's that red snow up there". Locust quickly takes up position behind a small boulder and aims down his scope. The mercs run and take cover behind other boulders and in small craters. Over the comm Locust hears a voice "Don't worry mercs eta 30 secs.Hold on until then". One of the mercs yells over the comm "That's easy for you to say your not the one taking fire" The fighter pilot responds "would you rather we leave you there" "No" The ground broke my fall. |

The mercs cheer as they see flames rise from the otherside of the hill. Over the comm the fighter pilot says "Ok mercs a Supra will be there eta 10 mins hold until then".As the fighter leaves there was another explosion and locust sees shrapenal fling from a crater the Pilot yells "Incoming 10,down hill!". Locust kneels and aims through his sight. He clicks the gun off safty to full auto and holds the trigger. Instantly the incoming troops hit the dirt and begin firing in full auto. 3 mercs that where standing drops to the ground filled with holes. Locust lets go of the trigger and steady his breathing, breathing slowly blocking out the sound of the bullets and the dieing mercs. locust pulls the trigger letting off a single shot, the shot flies through the air and hits one of the soldiers right in the head.Locust repeats this 3 more times. The ground broke my fall. |

The troops still 6 left stand up 5 drawing combat knifes 1 drawing a Beam Saber. Locust stands up and switches the gun to semi auto and fires a shot hitting the 1 with the sword in the chest. The remaining 5 charge the 4 mercs a soldier tosses a frag grenade and it lands infront of 1 of the mercs blowing the merc to pieces. '3' thinks locust and quickly draws his knife ready for melee. The soldiers hits the group and begins combat. Locust blocks a knife and punches the soldier knocking the wind out of him. Locust takes the opertunity and cuts the mans throat. A soldier kills the merc next to locust and charges him. Locust thinks '2' locust sees another soldier charging him. '3 on 1' thinks locust seeing anotherone charge him locust shape-shifts into his animal form. The charging men back off and turns to run but Locust jumps knocking 1 man down and killing him Locust chases the 2nd man for a few secounds jumping a 7ft gap and killing him. Locust turns and rushes to help his felow merc and jumps and in mid air turns into his normal from locust hits the man like a ton of bricks the man falls to the ground and Locust shoots him in the head.Finaly the Supra arrives and hover close to the ground. A short man in a officer's uniform jumps out and walks to the 2 survivor and yells "Sound off you merc maggots" the other merc saluts and streightens up " Merc 2nd divison Shock corp Privat Orik" "what about you demon!" Locust remains in his usual position not saluting "Shooter Locust 1st division Hunter squad" "Where is the sir and saluting....Shooter!" "I was taut not to say sir to anyone thats not a pilot" "Your one of those ship monkeys arn't you" "If thats what you want to call anyone who grew up on ships yes" The 2 mercs get onto the Supra and go to a small outpost there Locust is handed a small letter reading "Grab the next trans out and go to Vansid meet a man by the name: Orion Jo He has a job the requirs your skills" A hour later locust gets a ride off the planet The ground broke my fall. |
